There once was a toad
who had been turned into a prince
by the wicked, ugly, disagreeable
witch of the old dead oak (poor him!)
The only way to nullify the witchcraft
was to be kissed by the first young and
beautiful frog with whom
he had fallen in love
The problem was that he didn't
remember his state of toad
and so he was often looking for
something he didn't know
He didn't find that something
in the soul of the girls he knew
He didn't find that something in their bodies
He didn't find that something
in the lands he went to
He didn't find that something
in the words of any phylosophyst
One day, while he was throwing stones
in the water of a little stream,
he saw a little frog. He didn't know why,
but he wanted to take it home...
"Oh, little frog, can you tell me why do I feel so sad?"
He began to talk only with his little green frog
'cause men and women now avoided him
and he avoided them...
"Oh, little frog, if you only were a woman!
Oh, little frog, if I only were a toad!
You are the only one who listen to my problems,
the only one who seems to understand me!
Oh, if I only could turn you into a woman with this kiss!"
Now, he's a toad again:
the kiss they gave each other
had broken the witchcraft
and the prince reached that something
he was looking for
And, by now, I wonder
where the hell could be that frog I want to fall in love with
so that, with a kiss I could turn into that toad I surely was!
